eVidens becomes the RecollEdar program content manager for collection and recycling used cooking oil
The RecollEdar domestic oil recycling program aims to facilitate used oil recycling through collection points distributed in the municipalities of A Coruña, Arteixo, Cambre, Culleredo and Oleiros.
eVidens takes part in this project being integrated into the RecollEdar public website where citizenship can view the location and information about the oil collection points distributed in the 5 municipalities participating in the program.
In addition, the project has a eVidens platform for managing the information of the collection points, which works by combining information from different sources such as geographic information systems or third party services like Google.
With RecollEdar initiative, the public company EDAR Bens, responsible for the purification of waste waters of A Coruña, Arteixo, Cambre, Culleredo and Oleiros, continues its commitment to the dissemination of good practices for environmental protection. Awareness of users and their cooperation is key to a better public services, a rational use of resources and more effective management.
